Heaven’s Got It!

Heaven’s Got It!
…I have not found so great faith…, Matthew 8:10b.

• Fear not…
• Be not afraid…
• I Will Help You!

I remember going through a personal storm and a friend of mine prayed. After she prayed, she looked straight into my eyes, nodded her head, and said with ASSURANCE: Heaven’s Got It!

When she said Heaven’s Got It, I knew everything was just FINE.
Heaven Had It for Gideon, a man who didn’t appear to have the makings of a warrior when he was sent to war against the Midianites (Judges 7-8:21). Heaven Had It when David went up against Goliath with a stone (I Samuel 17). Heaven Had It when Moses approached Pharaoh with just a rod (Exodus 4).

Just knowing the POWER is working is comforting to our spirit. It gives us that peace that is beyond understanding (Philippians 4:7). I think developing a personal close intimate relationship with God is the process that leads to a Bold, Irrefutable Level of Confidence. It is the key that unlocks our Faith.

The enemy will tell us that God didn’t hear our prayers, or He’s not going to answer our prayers. All the devil wants to do is project a shred of doubt to weaken our Faith. But, the closer we are to God, the better we can recognize the voice of the enemy. We know not to listen to him because he’s the father of lies.

So just keep on praying and know with CONFIDENCE: Heaven’s Got It!

Not On Our Watch You Won’t!

Not On Our Watch You Won’t!
Who through faith subdued kingdoms…, Hebrews 11:33a.
• No…
• No…
• Absolutely NOT!

Some of the things the devil will pull are absolutely despicable to say the least. We already know he’s crazy. It took someone insane to lose the good position he had in Heaven. His résumé was quite impressive. But, he must think we’re CRAZY if we are going to just sit back and allow him to destroy our families.
Not On Our Watch You Won’t!
We’re no match for the devil all by ourselves. He can chew us up and spit us out with just a hint of fear. One suggestion of doubt will deadbolt any positive idea we might have. Just an inkling of unbelief will put a padlock on our faith.

Before we go into combat, we must study the enemy to know who we are up against. Ephesians 6:12 says that we are not wrestling against flesh and blood. In Isaiah 14:16 (LAB) it says, …“Can this be the one who shook the earth and the kingdoms of the world?” That passage tells us that the devil isn’t all that he would like us to believe.

The next thing we must know before we go into combat is who we are. We are the righteousness of God through Jesus Christ (II Corinthians 5:22b). And, we must know greater is He that is in us, than he that is in the world (I John 4:4b). We must also take an account of who’s on our side. Psalm 91:11-12 assures us we have angels fighting for us. Psalm 91:15 tells us that God Himself Is On Call.

Now all we have to do is suit up with the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:13-18) and resist the foolishness that the devil is trying to pull.

Go Undercover

                                     Go Undercover

If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove…,
Matthew 17:20.

You need to go to church…
      You need to get saved…
                    You’re going straight to hell!

Look, if the direct approach ain’t workin’ then it’s time to Go Undercover. Christians have been rejected repeatedly by their friends and loved ones when they openly beg and plead for them to give their heart to the Lord. Half the time barriers set up and these exhortations are tuned out. They soon find ways to avoid you in order to escape yet another sermon. I can remember my days of ducking and dodging.

I’m not telling you to stop praying or stop letting them know that you are praying for them. Sometimes people receive comfort when they know you care that much to pray. Their gratitude might be subconscious at the time only to surface years down the road. Nevertheless, I am saying we must realize when the direct “IN YOUR FACE” approach is not working it’s time to shift gears and start praying undercover.

To the unsuspecting, the sweet pleasant smile on your face lets them know that you care. However, they have NO clue of the measures you are taking Undercover on their behalf: fervently praying and fasting, casting down strongholds, binding the enemy’s plans, and loosing God’s will.

In the meantime while God is working on them,

Let them see God operating in your life.
Show them the results of your faith as you lean and trust God.
Demonstrate God’s love when the enemy attacks you.
 Exhibit peace during your storms.

When they see what you have works, they will soon want what you have.
