I’m Gonna Do It
Anyway!
By faith Abraham,
when called to go to a place he would latter receive as his
inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not
know where he was going.
Hebrews 11:8 (NIV)
• Make that call.
. .
• Make the
contribution. . .
• Pray!
When
someone pops into your head for no apparent reason, that could be God telling
you to pray for them—Immediately. Or when a person runs across your mind, it
could be a gentle nudge from the Holy Spirit telling you to call or to go see
about them. You might be divinely positioned in bumper-to-bumper traffic; just
so you can pray as you drive by what appears to be a hopeless accident.
Heed
the notion!
Perhaps
you need God’s help, but you don’t feel like you’ve been “good” enough for Him
to listen, let alone answer your prayers.
Go
for it; you have nothing to lose!
Possibly
you want to tell someone you love them, however, it’s embarrassingly painful
for you to express your feelings.
You’ll
feel worse if you miss the opportunity.
Maybe
God has asked you to take a leap of faith to do a certain project, but you told
yourself—that can’t be God! I don’t have the wherewithal to do anything like
that. If I could only be absolutely, positively, undeniably sure this is what
God wants me to do—then I would do it.
You won’t absolutely, positively, undeniably know
until you try!
I’m
sure we’ve all second guessed our thinking at one time or another. There was a
time I second guessed starting Paulette
Talks Faith.
My
current attitude: I’m
Gonna Do It Anyway!
