Week 153: Does Judge on a Curve?

Does God Judge on a Curve?
Examine and test and evaluate your own selves to see whether you are holding to your faith and showing the proper fruits of it. II Corinthians 13:5 (AMP)

• Evaluate. . .
• Score. . .
• Rate. . .
Students who are not performing up to par love it when teachers grade on a curve. I can remember being in a class that was so hard that I aimed for a high failing grade. Teachers can manipulate the grading scale to help those not doing so well to pass.
Million Dollar Question: Will God lower His standards to help the not doing so well world to pass?  Hmmm!

Warning! Warning! Low bar—Don’t trip!

If Christians pattern their behavior according to the world’s standards, they will stumble and fall. Every time we think things can’t get any lower, once again the bar drops right from under our feet. We have to be cognizant of the fact that the scales are set low on purpose—to entice.

It takes no effort to fall into a ditch.

Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. Matthew 7:13-14

God, The Master Teacher, has set His bar HIGH. Even though His desire is for everyone to pass—He will not tilt the scales. Nevertheless, in His loving kindness, He has provided “the way” for all to pass this class called: Life.

Provided Assistance:
1.         The Holy Spirit (I Corinthians 3:16)
2.         Grace and mercy (Hebrews 4:16)
3.         Wisdom (Proverbs 4:5-9)
4.         Angelic host (Psalm 91:11)
5.         Armor (Ephesians 6:13-18)
6.         Faith (Hebrews 11:1)

Everyone is given the opportunity to make the grade, but only high achievers will accept the challenge.
For many are called, but few are chosen. (Matthew 22:14)
