Week 117: Heaven's Generator: A Divine Hookup

                        Heaven’s Generator: A Divine Hookup
Now the just shall live by faith: Hebrews 10:38
• Power outage. . .
• Power shortage. . .
• Power down. . .

Whenever there’s a power outage, a generator is a good back-up system to have in our homes and businesses. Without it, our lives are subjected to the inconveniences caused by no electricity.

At times, the personal troubles in our lives can put us in the dark as well. However, it’s wonderful to know that we have a divine hookup that will connect us to the Light during our darkest trials. I know this to be true because when my son’s father died, unexpectedly I might add, it caused an emotional BLACKOUT!

I knew this was perhaps the most heartrending challenging time in which Harry had ever endured. I knew I had to be strong and supportive for him. Even though he seemed to have been on better footing than me.

I appeared to be solid and heavy-duty ready, but on the inside I was drained. I told God that I didn’t have the strength to pray the prayer that was in my heart.

That was when God spoke these words into my spirit: Go somewhere quiet, and just sit in My Presence. You don’t have to say a word. Depend and lean on your past prayers. Now is the time to use your faith, and trust Me to care for you, and Harry. Heaven’s Generator will hook you up with all the energy that you need.

Looking back, I can see that we didn’t miss a beat. Harry and I were able to do every task that God put in front of us to do. I know it was God’s strength that held us up. Once again, God proved His faithfulness in our lives.

My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.
II Corinthians 12:9.

It’s comforting to know that in our darkest hour:
                             Heaven’s Generator is On!
