Bon Appétit

                                      Bon Appétit
For we walk by faith, not by sight, II Corinthians 5:7.
• Eat
• Drink, and
• Be merry!

You are cordially invited to be the Honored Guest at this very special Banquet. Come and partake of the feast prepared just for you in the presence of your enemies (Psalm 23:5).

Your enemies are stumped when you are blissfully blessed in your darkest hour. They’re baffled when your empty cup is running over. They’re puzzled to see goodness and mercy following you, (Psalm 23:4-6).

Keep in mind, the word “enemy” doesn’t necessarily have to mean people. Your enemy could also refer to an unpleasant situation you might find yourself in. Or, a hardship of some sort you are trying to overcome. However the term is used, the principle is still the same. God has blessed you in the middle of the storm. This is a perfect way to Showcase your Faith when you can enjoy the wonderful spread that is set before you. Sit back, and I will tell you what’s on the menu:
                                                          Appetizer:
Provisions:  Your daily bread, Matthew 6:11.
Power:   Living water, John 7:38.
                                                               Entrée:

Protection: No weapon against you shall prosper, Isaiah 54:17.
Peace: I give you my peace, John 14:27.
Caregiver:  Cast your cares, I Peter 5:7.

Love: You have everlasting love, Jeremiah 31:3.
                                                              Dessert:

Let God Take the Bite!

                                         Let God Take the Bite!
That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.
  Titus 2:2.

• Fear not, I am with you…
• By the time the sun is hot, you shall have help…
• I will cut them off!

Whenever we have been wronged and feel vindication is within our rights, we should push the pause button on our emotions before we go after the kill and think: Do I really want what I’m getting ready to do to come back and BITE me? Galatians 6:7…whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

That Bite can take a huge plug out of us, but it won’t affect God at all. He will use the situation for His purpose. So…
                                                     Let God Take the Bite!
What do I mean when I say let God take the bite? By faith hand the situation over to Him. Don’t be overly presumptuous and think you can handle it all by yourself because you really can’t. The Bible says in Romans 12:19 that vengeance belongs to the Lord. When you let God handle it, buckle your seat because things are going to get very interesting!
God took the Bite for Moses when Pharaoh wouldn’t let the Israelites go. As a result, the land was stricken with horrible plagues. God took the Bite for Jehoshaphat. The outcome caused the enemy to turn on themselves. God took the Bite for Mordecai. Haman, enemy of the Jews, was hanged instead of Mordecai when Esther asked King Xerxes for mercy. And, God took the Bite when Jesus was crucified. We all know how that turned out.
When God Bites, you know you have been BITTEN!
                                                          Ouch!!!!!
