Casting Calls

                                             Casting Calls
…you timid and afraid, O you of little faith? Matthew 8:26

• Slotted …
• Branded …
• Labeled …

Lights! Camera! Action! There are people who live their life playing the role of a victim. No Auditions Necessary. This part is open to anyone who is willing to play this substandard character.

Qualifications: People who have a persecution complex will be considered first. Those who have the ability to self-victimize will be preferred over others.

I remember when I taught school there would always be those students who thought someone was “looking” at them. They always felt intimidated, victimized. They were only being harassed by the demons within themselves.
As Christians, the role of a victim is unacceptable. We don’t have to settle for this inferior, second-rate position in life when God said, we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37). Victims are not conquerors.

The enemy wants us in a role that he can direct. He doesn’t want us operating in the confidence of God. The devil will lie to us and feed our spirit with fears. We are a threat to him when we step over our phobias, and move forward in faith.

If you see yourself as a victim, leave the stage at once. Don’t worry, the show will go on without you. There’s always someone who is willing to play that part. It’s usually someone who is desperately looking for acceptance.

Be confident in faith to be the person that God has made you to be. Remember we are the salt of the world. No one can stop the good plan God has for you. No one but you that is. If being a victim is your problem, then get a new script; better still change Directors.

                                         Casting Calls:
Someone willing to play the part of a victim.
Someone willing to play the part of a CONQUEROR.
                                                    We Get to Choose!

This World Needs More Salt!

                                     This World Needs More Salt!
That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus. Philemon 1:6

• Too bland. . .
• Did you forget to put salt on it?
• Pass the salt!

Even though I no longer eat meat, I can still remember how disgustingly it tasted without salt. It was the salt that turned a bland slab of flesh into a succulent delectable mouth-watering celebration.

We can view this same principle spiritually. It says in Matthew 5:13 that we [Christians], are the salt of the world. This tells us that we are the seasoning that the world needs. If we apply enough salt, we can make the world thirsty for God, the Living Water.

Think about how hopeless things would be without the influence of Christians. We are making a difference. Sometimes we know it, but most of the time we probably don’t. When we go about our normal day, we’re dropping grains of salt.

The Scripture goes further and says that salt without its flavor is worthless. Therefore, as ambassadors of God, it’s our job to stay fresh and on top of the things that concern God. A smidgeon of Holy Ghost Salt, here and there, will go a long way. The components, of this special salt, contain such elements as: Faith, Prayer, and Love.

Here are some ways we Sprinkle Salt onto this World.

Our Faith in God Offers Possibilities. The world needs to see that our belief in God far exceeds man’s intellect and capabilities. What man thinks is impossible—is possible with God (Luke 18:27). A pinch of Faith Salt will Perk things up.

Our Prayers Opens and Closes Doors. The Word says in James 5:16b that the effectual fervent prayers of the righteous availeth much. The world needs to see that we have a direct line of communication to Almighty God. We depend on the One Who can actually change a situation around. A dash of Prayer Salt will Alter a hopeless situation.

Our Love Walk is an Intriguing Mystery. In a cold heartless world, we bring the warmth of God’s Love. The Word says to overcome evil with good, (Romans 12:21). This is an unfamiliar concept for a world who believes heavily in retaliation. A morsel of Love Salt will add Flavor to bitter, sour circumstances.
                                     So, Please Pass the Salt!

Recap

Paulette Talks Faith is One Year Old this Week!
This is a Special Celebratory Writing called:
                                                      Recap
A Heartfelt Thank You goes out to all my Dedicated Readers.

Recap
For we walk by faith, not by sight.
II Corinthians 5:7

• Once upon a time . . .
• Not long ago . . .
• Looking it over . . .

Paulette Talks Faith is one year old which comes to fifty-two writings. I think if I had to come up with one theme, it would have to be: Live the Life God Created You to Live. Regret is a harsh hard pill to swallow, and there’s no reason why we should have to experience its bitter aftertaste. As long as God is on our side, we have hope for a better future.
                        Nothing is Impossible with God!
That’s why we will not be fooled by Deception or by any of the devil’s Illegal Suggestions. We will guard ourselves from Spirit Pollution and use our Supernatural Power to overcome the enemy’s tricks. If we run into a problem, The Private Tutor will help us. If the enemy goes to the extreme, we will tell him: Are You Out of Your Mind? Not On Our Watch You Won’t. Devil, You Went too Far—Now I Gotta′ Cut Cha.
When we enter The Boxing Ring and the devil hollers, “GOTCHA,” The Air Traffic Controller will take over. We will Let God Take the Bite, and since Heaven’s Got It, we will Sit Down and Rest.
Caution—A Public Service Announcement: We took Shooting Lessons. Our gun is fully loaded with Faith, and we are Dressed to Kill.
When the enemy tries to get us to Sell Our Birthright for a Cup of Soup . . .
                                Hmmm! Okay granted—
This Might Take a Minute to figure out Who Said That? But, we’re not STUCK. We paid God’s Fuel Bill. We did the requirements of: Do the If YOUs—Receive the Promises. We will just Show Our ID and pull out God’s Rules of the Road and keep going.
In case of an accident, The First Responder is right there. We’ve been told to Check Your Life Insurance Policy. If we don’t, we will wear a sign that says: Backstabbers—Welcome.
In the end when it’s all over, we will Laugh It Off while we are displayed in God’s Showcase.               TRUMP!
