Week 141: Missing Puzzle Pieces

                              Missing Puzzle Pieces
Have faith in God. Mark 11:22 (NIV)
• Lost. . .
• Hidden. . .
• Stolen. . .

Frustrating isn’t it? You spend hours if not days trying to put a mega jigsaw puzzle together only to find out. . . pieces are missing.
                                           Whoop-de-doo!
Sometimes our lives may seem like a puzzle with missing pieces. Nothing seems to be connecting together that makes any sense. The blank spaces makes it hard to imagine there’s a beautiful picture in the works. What if that had happened? What if this had not happened? If I had only. . .
                                           Where are those missing pieces?

Many times the devil hid those pieces because he knows the brilliant brains, the outstanding gifts, and talents God has placed inside us. The enemy has to offset that by deceiving us with counterfeit pieces that don't quite fit. Sure we can scrape off the edges and force the pieces in, but I don't think we'll like the finish product. It's not going to give us the AMAZING life that God created for us. By faith, know there’s a beautiful picture awaiting with the right pieces.

If we want the right pieces, we should ask God questions like:
 • Is there something that I should be doing that I’m not doing?
 • Are the desires in my heart Your desires?
 • What’s on Your agenda for me today?
 • Is it too late for me to complete the will You planned for me to do?

How can it be too late when God controls time?

Onlookers thought it was too late when Jesus went to Lazarus’ tomb. However, it was a perfect day for a miracle. Miracles still happen—obey and let God direct your path. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

Spoiler Alert! Spoiler Alert! Spoiler Alert!
Your missing puzzle pieces are hiding behind your fears.

Week 140: Thought Management - 101

                     Thought Management - 101
That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
 I Corinthians 2:5

• Organize thoughts. . .
• Sort thoughts. . .
• Delete thoughts!

We don’t have to contemplate every negative thought that is cluttering up our minds. We can cut them off at the forefront. If those thoughts are left to roam freely, they will guide our actions and leave us depressed and faithless. Therefore, we must take control and delete those thoughts.

Here’s where to start:
It’s stated in Philippians 4:8 exactly the kinds of things we should think about:

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

If our thoughts can’t be put into one of those categories, that’s a red flag that we’re pondering on the devil’s illegal suggestions. This is an invitation for him to take control and run our lives.

Practical Application:
I have a filing system in my head. No, I’m not crazy. This really works—hear me out. Once I become aware that I’m having worrisome thoughts, I ask myself; “Which category can this thought be filed under: love, pure, honest. . .?” If the answer is none, I know my thinking has gone in the wrong direction.

This is not to say that we won’t have problems, but we are not to let them torment us, instead we are to cast our cares. When we stay peaceful it’s proof that we have faith in God to see us through. (I Peter 5: 6-8)

Inside each born again Christian is the Holy Spirit: The Comforter Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby. (John 14:26 AMP) So, there is no need to worry.

The good things that Jesus wants us to focus on will direct our minds in a positive direction—opened to hear, see, and receive His blessings.
                   Manage your thoughts!

Week 139: Son Screen Protection

                            Son Screen Protection
Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all
the fiery darts of the wicked. Ephesians 6:16

• Defense. . .
• Safeguard. . .
• Cover. . .

We use all kinds of sun screens; salves, gels, and lotions to protect ourselves from the ultra violet rays the sun gives off. We have been warned that exposure to the sun’s radiation can be very dangerous, and in some cases it can even be life threatening. However, there’s another threat we face that sun screens can’t protect us from—the devil. That's a case for Son Screen Protection.
                                            Fear Not!
We have a heavenly screen that shields us when the enemy attacks. Yes, the enemy will attack. Nevertheless, God will screen how much He will allow us to bear. (I Corinthians 10:13) All we have to do is exert our faith, and take position in the secret place of Almighty God; He’s our shield. (Psalm 91)

Every problem has to bow down to the Blood of Jesus!

If you ask anything in God’s will, He hears you. (I John 5:14-15) Let the enemy know, that you know, he’s not dealing with you without backup from Heaven. By faith release the problem to God, and let Him fight the battle. All you have to do is be obedient, and trust God. No need to worry—
