But God!

         But God!
…If ye have faith, and doubt not… (Matthew 21:21)

          • You’re not qualified. . .
          • That’s impossible. . .
          • Over my dead body. . .

It doesn’t matter what horror the devil pulls. It makes no difference what the report says. So what all the doors are shut. When the enemy comes in like a flood. . . But God!

Our faith is fueled with these two powerful words: But God! They will stop any hex, vex, witch or wizard. We are never at the mercy of the devil. No foe can withstand the power of God (Psalm 91:1 Amp). God told us to fear not because He is with us (Isaiah 41:10). What can man do if God is on our side? (Romans 8:31) No one can circumvent God in order to get to us. Throughout the Bible, there are numerous encounters where the enemy had plans to destroy God’s people, But God!

We have to remember, especially when we are going through trials, that we have the Power of the Holy Spirit in us if we’re born again. It’s comforting to know that we’re not alone. God knows what’s going on. He will guide us through. God loves us, and He’s in control. God knows how much we can take (I Corinthians 10:13 AMP). He knows when to make the appropriate shift in our situations. He knows we’re no match for the devil. He’s not going to allow the enemy to destroy us.
                                                                  But God. . .

Our faith should be empowered just knowing that when God intervenes, things will change. There is no human authority, or evil spirit that can overpower God’s will for our lives. God will fight our battles. He never intended for us to go through hard times without Him.

The devil, on the other hand, wants us to fight our own battles. This gives him the upper hand. He knows fear and worry will weaken us, and cause us to doubt our faith. He will have us thinking things like: I’m not going to make it. I give up. This is going to kill me.
However, we should have only one thought: But God!
