Writing Our Life Chapter by Chapter
The just shall live by faith, Romans 1:17b.
• Drama?
• Mystery?
• Comedy?
• Fairytale?
Each
event in our life is a chapter in our story. We are the Writers! We have
to deal with the hand we were dealt, and still make it the BEST story ever.
It’s remarkable how some people are
dealing with situations like; extreme physical impairments, terrible living
conditions, unimaginable circumstances, and yet they are living happy fulfilled
lives. They realize they are in control of their own happiness, and refuse to
give up because of less than “perfect” conditions. On the other hand, there are
others with less than perfect lives who gave up and won’t even try. Who’s Writing
This? Hmmmm!
If you don’t think you have enough control
over your life to determine how these chapters will go, the devil will be glad
to assist and write them for you. He has been working on some plot ideas since
your existence.
Warning: He only has one
ending: kill, steal, and destroy. Snatch the pen away from him, and write
your own story. Because Jesus said, I came that you have and enjoy your
life, and have it in abundance, John 10:10.
God has given each of us a good plan
for our lives. He didn’t promise our
circumstances would be perfect in order to get this good life. The Amazing thing
is, our circumstances cannot override
God’s plan if we have enough Faith and Trust to follow His instructions.
