You Cook It—You Eat It

You Cook It—You Eat It
… the trying of your faith
James 1:3

• Scrumptious . . .
• Mouthwatering . . .
• Lip-smacking . . .

One of the things I find challenging, yet amusing about writing Paulette Talks Faith is that God makes me Eat What I Cook. What I mean is: When I run into situations in my life, He refers me back to one of my own writings for help. God makes me chew, swallow, and digest every word I dish out.

Though, I will have to admit that I have choked over a few of the devil’s illegal suggestions. However, the good news is I only choked because I refused to swallow. The enemy can’t slip his lies past me as easily as he has done in the past. I think that to realize negative thoughts are actually lies from the enemy is progress.

Think about some of the things you’re cooking up.
• Is it edible?
• Would you want to eat it?
• Can you eat it?
For instance, can you eat some of the advice you give others? If the answer is no,
                                                        Don’t Serve It!
