Bodyguards
The

Bodyguards are not just
for the privileged few. People who are destitute and living on the streets can
have bodyguards. You see, it’s not your worldly status, but it’s your heavenly standing
with God that qualifies you for this round-the-clock protection.
For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;
they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. Psalm 91:11-12 (NIV)

so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. Psalm 91:11-12 (NIV)
It
doesn’t matter how well-built or knowledgeable a human bodyguard is, they cannot
stand up against God’s supernatural beings. God’s guards are filled with His
POWER. For example:
In Acts 12:6-10, Peter was bound, and chained
sleeping between two guards when God sent His angel to free him. Those guards
were not going to stop the plans that God had for Peter. When God was ready for
Peter to get out, He sent an angel, and the chains just fell off—Peter escaped.
When
I was a principal working in a troubled school, the gangs had made the school neutral
territory, as if they had a choice. Little did they know—prayer warriors were
praying. We envisioned the school surrounded by angels with their swords erected—ready
to battle.
